Sand Rock Graduate Competing in State Pageant This Weekend

SANDROCK — A recent graduate of Sand Rock will represent the area this weekend as she competes in the National American Miss (NAM) Alabama State Pageant in Mobile.

Miss Savanna Clark, an honor graduate of Sand Rock and the granddaughter of Larry Rogers of Larry’s Towing in Centre, will participate in the pageant from June 6–8. Clark is currently enrolled at Gadsden State Community College, where she is pursuing a degree in Radiologic Technology.

Clark says she first learned about the pageant through a mail advertisement and decided to attend an open call. That opportunity led her to a spot in the state-level competition. She will be competing for a chance to advance to the Nationals to be held in Orlando in November.

According to the organization’s website, National American Miss is a program that aims to build confidence and teach real-world skills while promoting a positive self-image. It celebrates individuality and encourages contestants to pursue their dreams through personal growth and skill development.

The pageant promises a supportive environment, professional-level production, and a dedicated staff committed to helping participants succeed both during and beyond the competition.

Local friends and family are wishing Clark the best of luck as she takes the stage to represent Sand Rock and the surrounding community in Mobile this weekend.
