Tuesday Centre City Council Meeting

Centre City Council Meets To Discuss City Business For The First Week of April.

The Centre City Council met Tuesday afternoon with the work session beginning at 4:30 with the general meeting starting at 5p.m. The first order of business the minutes from the previous meeting were approved.  The council approved payment of all bills for the listed period and heard  reports from the city department heads.

Department heads at the meeting were  Raymond Matthes Building Inspector, Robert pace Fire Marshall, Kirk Blankenship Police Chief, Jay Wilson Recreation Director, and Bobby Paul Street & Sanitation Supervisor.

The council approved the purchase of lights for both the old and new parking lot of Ed Yarbrough park along with the purchase of a new Auger for the street department.  The council also approved the purchase of  cameras to monitor the City Park. The cameras will be active  all the time with 24 hour monitoring.  The council meeting was adjourned.
