In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:
Christina Mayhew, age 29 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jennifer Reed, age 34 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of driving under the influence.
Jaida Naugher, age 47 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Shana Canada, age 40 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge of 1st degree theft of property.
Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 119 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
