Cherokee County, Piedmont and Spring Garden all continue their stay in the top five in their respective classes this week in the latest Alabama Sports Writers Association high school football rankings. The latest poll was released early Wednesday morning.

Class 4A Cherokee County (7-1) and Class 3A Piedmont (7-0) are both continue to be ranked third. The Warriors host No. 10 Alexandria (5-2) this Friday, while the Bulldogs travel to Weaver (2-5).

Spring Garden maintains its No. 4 ranking this week. The Panthers host Ider (0-7) for their homecoming.
