Real “Fall” Weather, Not Far Away

Real “Fall” Weather Not Far Away

A cold front on its way through Alabama will bring the “feel of Fall” along with it, and not fake Fall, either.

This is the real thing.

Unfortunately, it appears that it WON’T bring a lot of rain.   High temperatures TODAY (Tuesday) – will be a huge contrast from over the past few days, and highs will only reach the 60’s in the north and also central Alabama, with 70’s expected for most of south-central and south Alabama.   It gets really chilly Tuesday night into Wednesday morning; the weather service is forecasting lows in north Alabama to fall into the mid-to upper 30’s – and the northern part of central Alabama could see30’s as well.

Wednesday could be the coolest day.  Highs Wednesday will make it only into the 60’s statewide except for coastal areas, which could crack 70.  Wednesday night into Thursday morning could be the coldest part of the week. More lows in the 30’s – will be possible in north Alabama.  Central Alabama will be in the upper 30’s to low 40’s.

According to the weather service temperatures will start to moderate on Thursday, with daytime highs expected to be a few degrees warmer than Wednesday.

Temperatures will continue to warm up some on Friday, and through the weekend. However, they’ll still be cool, with 70’s and low 80’s expected.
