Mrs. Jewel “Julie” Rains, age 83 of Leesburg, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Cherokee County Health and Rehab.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 11:30AM at Cherokee Memory Gardens with Rev. Marty Thompson officiating.
She is survived by her son, Johnny (Jill) Rains; daughters, Valerie Hargett, & Sandy (Garry) Phillips; brothers, Dale Lemons & Billy Gail (Cathy) Lemons; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; chosen daughter, Pam Sexton Butler and numerous other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Rufus & Geraldine Lemons; husband, Bobby Gene Rains Sr.; son, Bobby Gene Rains Jr. and several brothers & sisters.
