* WHERE…A portion of central Alabama, including Cherokee County.
*WHEN…Until 1000 AM CDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

– At 1001 AM CDT, reporting gauges upstream indicate elevated levels along the Chattooga River above Weiss Lake. This will cause lowland flooding along the Chattooga River above Weiss Lake.
– Flooding impacts will continue, but no significant additional rainfall is expected.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include Gaylesville and surrounding areas eastward to the state line.
