Garden girls ‘ring’ in new volleyball season with win over Pepperell, Ga.

SPRING GARDEN – On the day they received their 2023 Class 1A state volleyball championship rings, Spring Garden opened the 2024 season with a sweep of Pepperell, Ga., on Thursday. The scores were 25-12, 25-13, 25-13.
Ace Austin led the Lady Panthers with 16 kills and 15 digs. Avery Steward delivered 33 assists and four digs. Maggie Jarrett came away with eight kills and 10 digs. Olivia Law contributed five kills and eight digs. Kristen Lewis posted 13 digs, and Montana Highfield finished with four kills and three aces.

Spring Garden plays in the Good Hope Tournament on Saturday.
