In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

STACY DAWSON, age 53 of Gaylesville, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

DANA DENNIS, age 26 of Brooklyn, New York – was arrested by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office officials and is On Hold for another agency;

AMBER SMITH age 32 from Cedar Bluff, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Interference with Custody;

And

DENNA REED, age 45 of Centre, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Theft of Property 3rd Degree.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 107 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
