One person died – after a single vehicle crash occurred in Etowah County on Sunday.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, 35-year-old Douglas Loveless was fatally injured that afternoon, after his vehicle left the road, struck a tree and it then hit an embankment on I-59 close to mile marker 194. Authorities say that Loveless was not wearing a seatbelt, and was ejected from the vehicle, and pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time – the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, is still investigating the crash.
