Cedar Bluff’s Pack homers, drives in five runs to lead Tigers past Gaylesville 7-2

GAYLESVILLE – Coming off a 3-for-3 performance at the plate and a win on the mound in an area baseball series opener against Gaylesville on Tuesday, Kaden Pack picked up where he left off in game two at Gaylesville on Thursday.

Pack homered and drove in five runs to lead the Tigers to a 7-2 victory to win the series.

Jacob Chambers contributed a pair of hits, including a double. Samson Mallett also doubled, walked and scored twice. Isaac Bishop added a hit, a walk, a run and a RBI. Eli McFry finished with a hit.

Caleb Edmondson picked up the win on the mound for the Tigers. He tossed four innings of two-hit ball and gave up two earned runs with three walks and four strikeouts. Kolwyn Morrison pitched three innings and surrendered a hit and a walk with four strikeouts.

Kyler Bradley homered to lead the Trojans. Hunter Allmond added a hit and run. Daylen Dobbins delivered a hit, a walk and a RBI. Braden Sharp walked twice.

Alex Baty suffered the loss for the Trojans. He tossed six innings and gave up five earned runs on five hits with three walks and five strikeouts.

Cedar Bluff travels to Spring Garden on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. for another crucial area series. Gaylesville is at Skyline on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
