A two-vehicle wreck in east Alabama has left one man dead.
The crash happened just prior to noon Wednesday, at 11:57am, on Wildman Road, just three miles west of Anniston in Calhoun County.
Alabama State Troopers said David W. Pledger, 55, of Anniston, was driving a Hyosung GT650R motorcycle, that struck a Dodge Ram. Pledger was taken to UAB Hospital in Birmingham, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Dodge Ram was being driven by Phillip Harwell – 54 – of an Albertville address. He was not injured.
