Sheriff Jeff Shaver and Chief Deputy Josh Summerford welcome back Tray McMeekin to the Sheriff’s Office, to the Patrol Division, as Deputy McMeekin.

McMeekin worked as a Corrections Officer, and Reserve Deputy, for Cherokee County during 2019/2020 before transferring to Floyd County, Georgia, where he graduated the Georgia Police Academy.

He will be going through the APOSTC Lateral Academy soon.
