GAYLESVILLE – John and Jake Welsh scored 24 and 18 points respectively to lead the Spring Garden Panthers to a 78-40 area boys basketball win at Gaylesville on Friday night.

Connor Bates added eight points for the Panthers. Cam Welsh finished with seven points.

Kuper Bradley connected on a pair of 3-pointers and had 15 points to lead the Trojans. Kyler Bradley contributed 10 points and Collin Hendon finished with eight points.

Spring Garden jumped out to a 27-11 advantage and held a 43-23 edge at halftime. The Panthers led 67-31 after three quarters.

Spring Garden travels to Ider on Saturday. Gaylesville hosts Cedar Bluff on Monday.
