Gaylesville Woman Fatally Injured Monday in Floyd County Crash

A Cherokee County (Alabama) woman was fatally injured in a single-vehicle accident, taking place in Northwest Georgia on Monday afternoon.

According to Floyd County Police, the victim, 60 year old Shawna Kelly of Gaylesville, died as a result of her injuries – when the 2007 Ford F-50 that she was a passenger in left the roadway and struck a tree on the driver’s side.

The driver, 62 year old Kenneth Tudor – was traveling westbound, near Highway 100 South between Coosa and Cave Spring, on Livingston Road when that crash occurred; he was transported to Floyd Medical Center, suffering minor injuries.

That cause of that accident remains under investigation.
