This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the National Weather Service office in Birmingham.

Outlook through Friday night

Severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening across all of Central Alabama. Threats include damaging winds and large hail.  Another round of severe storms will move through late tonight into Saturday morning; damaging winds and large hail are possible along with an isolated tornado threat.  Locally heavy rainfall may also cause minor flooding.
