Floyd County Police responded to a two-vehicle accident in the dense fog at Highway 53 and Burlington Drive early Monday morning.
According to police, a 2016 Chevy Spark traveling southbound on Highway 53 attempted to make a left turn onto Burlington – turning into the path of a northbound 2008 Toyota Tacoma. The driver of the Chevy was transported to the hospital
The extent of her injuries was not known; however, they did not appear to be life-threatening.
The driver of the Tacoma sustained only minor injuries.
That wreck occurred at around 9:00am.
