The Gadsden Police Department says that there has been a spike in counterfeit money over the last few weeks.
There have been at least 8 reports of counterfeit money, in various denominations.
Gadsden Police would like to remind everyone, especially local businesses, to be vigilant and keep an eye out. Train your employees on what to look for.
