Small earthquake felt this morning near Fort Payne. Homes in DeKalb County were shaken Tuesday morning by a small earthquake, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The tremor measured as a 2.3 magnitude event, according to the USGS, and occurred at 6:11 this morning less than 4 miles southwest from Fort Payne.
