Hillary Clinton Will Start Traveling with Press Corps on Larger Aircraft

ABC News(NEW YORK) — Hillary Clinton has abstained from the common presidential campaign practice of flying on the same aircraft as her traveling press corps — until now.

Beginning on Monday — with just 64 days left until the election — the Democratic presidential nominee will replace her small, private jet with a significantly larger aircraft that she will not only share with her campaign staff, but with Secret Service staffers and reporters too.

According to a Clinton campaign aide, the new plane will be unveiled on Labor Day with a trip to Ohio and the Quad Cities, a region of four counties in northwest Illinois and Southeastern Iowa.

Until now, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s running mate Mike Pence has been the only one of the four presidential and vice presidential nominees to have this set-up.
