Just before 7:00pm Sunday, two boats collided in the slough off Embo’s Island at Leesburg.
Two individuals in a small fishing boat were thrown into the water, when a large watercraft ran over the smaller vessel.
The pair were assisted by others and pulled from the water at Yellow Creek Baptist Church.
Reportedly, both men were bruised and sore, but seemed to be okay with no major injuries.
The Alabama Marine Police, Cherokee County Rescue Squad and Cherokee EMS responded to the scene.
