A Centre man was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center late Wednesday afternoon (June 19th) for failure to appear on prior drug charges.
42 year old Thomas Whorton was charged with a probation violation and for failure to appear on previous charges of unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance first degree, possession/sell of precursor chemicals and a probation revocation.
According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office website, no bond has yet been set.
