Goody’s will reportedly have a new neighbor this summer – when Hibbett Sporting Goods opens a new store in the Cherokee Plaza Shopping Center.
According to a press release out of Birmingham, that new store will employee eight full and part-time team members, and will offer Centre and surrounding areas, a large selection of name-brand athletic equipment, footwear and apparel.
The Birmingham-based company currently has 84 stores across the state of Alabama, with a total of 880 locations across the U.S.
An exact date for the opening of the Cherokee Plaza store has yet-to-be announced.
