RAINSVILLE – The Collinsville Panthers scored runs in six out of seven innings to take a 10-2 baseball win at Plainview on Saturday afternoon.
Mason McAteer, Brantley Daugherty and Will Edmondson combined to toss a four-hitter. McAteer earned the win after working three innings of no-hit ball with three walks and a strikeout.
Jameson Coker led the Panthers (4-0) at the plate by going 2-for-4 with a triple, a walk, a run and a RBI. Gavin Lang was also 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs. Edmondson doubled, walked, scored a run and drove in another.
McAteer managed a hit, a walk and a run. Jeremiah Killian collected a hit, a walk and two RBIs. Jake Middlebrooks came away with a hit and a RBI. Coleton Pettus and Zach Clanton both had a hit and scored a run. Clanton also drew a pair of walks. Shaun Stewart contributed a walk and a run. Kyler Beene and Noah Johnson both scored a run.
Plainview scored both of its runs in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Collinsville travels to Etowah on Tuesday.
