In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

MORGEN ZUBER, age 28 from Leesburg, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on charges of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

SAMANTHA HUDGINS age 31 of Fort Payne was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Burglary 3rd/Dwelling, and also Theft of Property 2nd Degree;

TIMOTHY WHITE, age 49 from Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and charged with Failure to Appear, on the prior counts of Theft of Property 1st Degree and Theft of Property 2nd Degree;

GARY SMITH, age 49 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and is On Hold for Another Agency – and was also charged with Failure to Appear on a prior count of Driving While Revoked;

RONNIE CRANE, age 66, Scottsboro, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and he was charged with Failure to Appear on a previous Probation Revocation;

JON KING, age 26 of Leesburg was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police, and was placed On Hold for Another Agency;

LARRY SANDERS, age 44 of Toney, was arrested by Centre Police and was charged with Harassment, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest;

And

PRESTON BURT, age 21 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Theft of Property 1st Degree.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 107 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
