Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader says the investigation into the recovery of a body – which was found inside a van that was pulled from a swimming pool on Sunday – continues

The Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, the GBI and Georgia State Patrol all responded to the scene on Brow Road in Cloudland late yesterday (Sunday).

No positive identification has yet been made – however media outlets in Chattooga County say there is some speculation that the body may be that of a missing Dade County man.

The body has been sent to the GBI Crime Lab for verification – we’ll have more information as it becomes available.
