A 31 year old Cherokee County woman was jailed in Floyd County Wednesday, accused of stealing more than $33,000 from a Rome-area business.
According to warrants at the Floyd County Jail, Kimberly Maddix Mohler – of a County Road 117 address in Cedar Bluff, allegedly sold carpet for Hack’s Carpet then put the money into her personal PayPal account.
The incidents are said to have occurred between January the 2nd and July 11th of this year.
Mohler is charged with felony Theft by Taking.
