Edna Jean Rieger age 88 of Centre passed away Friday June 25th at Andalusia Manor.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Sunday June 27th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Hughston officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Jeremy Rieger, Jacob Rieger, Logan Poole, Steve Reed, Rod Chandler and Tommy Cantrell.

Survivors include sons, Gerald (Darlene) Rieger, Tim Rieger and Dwayne Farrell (Teresa) Rieger; daughter, Wanda (Tim) Poole; sister, Nina (Jimmy) Stokes; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, P.F. Rieger.

Mrs. Rieger was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late George and Edna Reed and a member of Sand Valley Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cherokee Rescue Squad or American Cancer Society or charity of choice. The family request no food please.
