Three people were injured in two-separate auto accidents occurring in Cherokee County on Wednesday

According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident reports, both wrecks occurred on Alabama Highway 278 – the first at 1:05pm involving a Kia and a Honda which resulted in a male and a female being hurt, those being the driver of each vehicle; and the second mishap – a single vehicle rollover involving a Ford Ranger pickup – injured the male driver.

That crash took place just ten minutes later; no additional information regarding the extent of the injuries suffered by any of those involved has been made available.

Both wrecks remain under investigation by state troopers.
