Mr. John Wayne Doegg, age 87 of Centre, passed away Saturday, September 12th at his residence after an extended illness surrounded by family.
A graveside service will be 12:PM Monday, September 14th at Old Nazareth Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Stanley Koonce officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11:30 AM Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be sons-in-law and grandsons.
Survivors include daughters, Rachell (Rich) Matlock AND Renae (Rickey) Gossett; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 1 sister.
He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 6 sisters.
Mr. Doegg was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Jo and Lucy Doegg, he was retired from American Apparel and was a member of Old Nazareth Baptist Church.
