Sources have confirmed to WEIS Radio News that a pedestrian was transported to Gadsden Regional Medical Center after being struck by an 18 wheeler on Highway 411 near Highway 431 in Gadsden early Thursday afternoon.
The condition of the victim is unknown at this time, we have reached out to the Gadsden Police Department concerning the incident. We will provide additional information as soon as an official report is made available.
