One person was hurt in a single vehicle accident in Cherokee County Thursday evening. The driver – listed on the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report as being a resident of Fairmont, Georgia – apparently lost control on the 2016 Hyundai on Alabama Highway 9, at approximately 7:35pm and suffered injuries in the wreck.
No additional information regarding the extent of her injuries was noted on the report.
The cause of that accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
