Northeast Alabama Water is doing some repair work, on County Road 22, past the old Ray’s Meat Market location in the vicinity of Piney Church.
County Engineer Corey Chambers tells us they’re simply moving a pipe, and hopefully work will be completed later today (Thursday, June 6th).
Motorists traveling in that direction should slow down and exercise caution.
