CENTRE– Candy with the Cardinals will bring free Halloween fun to Gadsden State Community College’s Cherokee Campus Friday, Oct. 30, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Organizers invite families to the campus at 801 Cedar Bluff Road for trunk-or-treat activities and a community celebration. Also, admission is free and open to the public, and costumes are welcome.
According to Gadsden State Community College, guests will receive a candy bag at check-in. From there, families can visit participating tables, collect treats, and enjoy Halloween activities.
In addition, the celebration gives children and parents an opportunity to meet Gadsden State students, employees, and campus organizations.
Gadsden State Cherokee, the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, and Cherokee County DHR sponsor the event. The Gadsden State Police/Public Safety Department is also participating.
Meanwhile, the Cherokee Campus celebration wraps up the college’s three-campus Candy with the Cardinals series. Earlier events took place at the Ayers Campus in Anniston and Wallace Drive Campus in Gadsden.
