Little River Canyon National Preserve announces a junior angler fishing day on Saturday, September 26th from 10:00 – 2:00 pm at Canyon Mouth Park. This fee-free day will celebrate National Public Lands Day and will include fishing instruction and education for all ages. Those who do not wish to fish may enjoy fishing printing arts and crafts. All supplies are provided, and fishing is free for youth 16 and under. Adults may fish with a valid Alabama fishing license. Participants may also complete the Junior Angler booklet to receive a Junior Angler Ranger badge.
