DOUGLAS– A Cullman man died Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle near Douglas.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash occurred at approximately 4:32 p.m. on Nixon Chapel Road near Fairview Drive.
Troopers said Christopher H. Ward, 49, was operating a 2004 Suzuki Intruder motorcycle. The motorcycle struck a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica driven by Leah M. Bogdanovich, 39, of Grant.
As a result, Ward was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened approximately two miles west of Douglas in Marshall County. No additional details were immediately available.
Meanwhile, troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
