MONTGOMERY – The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is asking Alabamians to vote for the state’s entry in the American Association of State Troopers’ 13th Annual America’s Best Looking Cruiser Contest.

This year’s entry features ALEA’s Chevrolet Camaro and Chevrolet Tahoe patrol vehicles beneath the lights of the National Peanut Festival in Dothan. According to ALEA, the photo highlights Alabama pride while honoring the officers who serve communities across the state.

Voting began Monday, June 29, and continues through Sunday, July 13, at noon Eastern Time. Residents can vote online by visiting the official contest website or through the American Association of State Troopers website and Facebook page.

To cast a ballot, voters simply browse the entries, select Alabama from the drop-down menu, complete the CAPTCHA verification, and submit their vote. However, only one vote per device is allowed during the contest.

The winning agency will earn the title of America’s Best Looking Cruiser. In addition, the winning photo will appear on the cover of the 2027 America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruisers Wall Calendar.

Calendar sales support the American Association of State Troopers Foundation. As a result, proceeds help provide educational scholarships for dependents of member troopers.

ALEA encourages residents, visitors, and supporters of Alabama law enforcement to vote and share the contest with others. The agency hopes Alabama will earn the national title this year.
