Plainview School Students Recognized with “Power of 1” Award During 4th Grade Awards Day

RAINSVILLE— Fourth grade students at Plainview School were recently recognized during Awards Day, where four students received the “Power of 1” Award for their positive impact in the classroom and school community.

District Attorney Summerford participated in the ceremony and had the honor of presenting the awards to students who were selected for consistently demonstrating kindness, helpfulness, and a positive attitude throughout the school year.

This year’s recipients include Bryson Hicks, Lane Whidbee, Matthew Garcia, and Kaylee Esteban.

School officials say the students have served as strong examples for their peers by contributing to a supportive and encouraging learning environment.

The “Power of 1” Award highlights students who make a difference through everyday actions that positively influence those around them.
