Centre City Council Special Called Meeting

Centre- The Centre City Council held a special called meeting Monday afternoon to deal with the renovation of the Children’s Advocacy Center. The Council approved the renovation with Complete Construction receiving the job by submitting the apparent low bid of $125,233.

The Council awarded another construction bid to Joe Lawrence to pour the concrete in the new pavilion at the Centre City Park in the amount of $3,200.

Another bid was awarded to Suntronics for the electronic sign at the new City Hall. This action was based on new information about the sign technology and lower price for better technology for an estimated cost of $34,000.

The next regular meeting of the Centre City Council is set for May 12 at 5 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
