Cherokee County Board of Education Schedules Special Called Meeting

CENTRE, Ala. — The Cherokee County Board of Education will hold a special called meeting on Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. at the Cherokee County Schools Central Office, located at 200 Armory Road in Centre.

According to the meeting agenda, the session will begin with a call to order, welcome, and roll call to establish a quorum. Board members will also address proper procedures for board meeting notification and adopt the agenda.

The board is scheduled to consider approval of a personnel action during the meeting. Additional matters may be discussed under “Other” business before adjournment.

The meeting is being held as a special called session of the Cherokee County Board of Education.
