Shiloh Baptist Church to Hold Community Food Distribution on January 28

CENTRE — Shiloh Baptist Church will hold a community-wide food distribution on Wednesday, January 28, offering support to individuals and families facing food insecurity. The church, located at 120 Bay Springs Road in Centre, will provide food boxes at no cost to anyone in need.
Organizers say each food box contains a well-rounded variety of staple items such as canned vegetables, soups, fruits, and proteins, along with grains and dried beans to help households prepare multiple nutritious meals. In addition to these shelf-stable items, the church often receives donations of fresh produce, including fruits and vegetables, as well as meat selections when available. These added items are distributed as supplies allow and help ensure that families receive both balanced and fresh components in their monthly food boxes.
The distribution is part of an ongoing effort held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at Shiloh Baptist Church. Community members are encouraged to attend on their own behalf or to pick up food for someone they know who may be struggling with food insecurity.
