Gadsden Fire Department Raises Over $12,000 in Annual Toys From Santa Roadblock
Gadsden-The Gadsden Fire Department is celebrating a successful turnout for its annual Toys from Santa roadblock fundraiser, reporting that more than $12,000 was raised during Wednesday’s event—with additional change still being counted.
Fire officials say the strong support from residents will help ensure that children throughout the community experience a brighter Christmas this year. The funds collected will go toward purchasing toys for local families in need, continuing a long-running holiday tradition supported by both firefighters and the public.
“We truly couldn’t do it without the community,” the department said in a statement, expressing gratitude for the generosity shown throughout the day. “Your support helps us make a difference, and we appreciate everyone who contributed.”
