In the arrest files for the previous 24 hours:

Destini Reese, age 18 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lori Trail, age 39 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on a charge of public intoxication.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 86 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
