Odenville Middle School Employee Arrested for Solicitation of a Sex Act With Student

Tyler Patrick Easter, 22 of Odenville was arrested by the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office 

ODENVILLE — A 22-year-old former employee of Odenville Middle School has been arrested following allegations of inappropriate conduct with a student, according to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office reported that its School Resource Officer was made aware of a complaint filed with school administrators regarding the conduct of an instructional aide. Investigators with the Criminal Investigative Division were immediately notified and launched an investigation.

Authorities say the investigation led to the arrest of Tyler Patrick Easter, of Odenville, who is charged with solicitation of a sex act with a student under the age of 19. Easter was booked into the St. Clair County Jail in Pell City on a $6,000 bond.

Sheriff Billy J. Murray confirmed that Easter is no longer employed at Odenville Middle School.

The investigation remains ongoing.
