Man Wearing Only Underwear Tells Officers He’s ‘Beyoncé’

A Carrollton man is facing several charges after police say he was seen in just his underwear and behaving erratically at a gas station on Kingston Highway last Friday.
According to arrest warrants and Floyd County Jail records, 24-year-old Taeshaun Cameron Freeman was reportedly entering vehicles without permission and even took a beverage from one person.
When officers arrived, Freeman refused to follow commands and resisted as they attempted to transport him to a hospital for evaluation. Authorities say he pulled away from four officers during the process.
Freeman also allegedly identified himself to officers as “Beyonce Knowles.” Once inside the patrol vehicle, police report he kicked the door hard enough to bend it, preventing it from closing properly.
He was booked into the Floyd County Jail on multiple charges, including interference with government property, obstruction, public indecency, disorderly conduct, giving a false name to law enforcement, and public intoxication.
