The Cherokee County Volleyball Tournament is set for Saturday, Sept. 26. Sand Rock is this year’s host.
Saturday’s single-elimination action begins at 9 a.m. with junior varsity action between the host Lady Wildcats and Cedar Bluff, followed by Cherokee County and Spring Garden at 10 a.m.
Varsity tournament action begins at 11 a.m., with Cedar Bluff taking on Gaylesville. Spring Garden battle Sand Rock at 12:30 p.m. The winner of the Cedar Bluff-Gaylesville match will take on Cherokee County at 1:30 p.m.
The tournament championship games will be played Monday, Sept. 28 at Richard Lindsey Arena in Centre. The junior varsity championship is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., followed by the varsity title match at 6:30 p.m.
Admission is $8 per day.
