CEDAR BLUFF – Spring Garden swept Cedar Bluff in area volleyball action on Thursday. The scores were 25-21, 25-19 and 25-14.

Aubrey Kelley led the Lady Panthers (16-11) with 17 kills and eight assists. Addie Word added six kills and an ace. Lleyton Carroll contributed 29 assists and five aces. Maya Jennings delivered four kills and 12 assists.

Kylie Bates had two kills and an assist. Hayden Parris posted four assists and a kill. Lacie Jo McMurray and Addie Smith both managed 12 assists. Gracie Simpson finished with nine assists.

Paityn Walker collected 19 digs, 11 kills, four assists and a block to lead Cedar Bluff (13-10). Marlee Timm tallied eight assists, four digs and two kills. Vana Martin posted 26 digs. Cece Davis delivered three kills and two digs.

Piper Cromer came away with eight digs, two kills, a block and an ace. Marley Horton had four digs and a kill. Jakirah Brown three digs, a kill and an ace. Jahleigh Dodd and Makayla Kimmons finished with 10 digs and eight digs respectively.

Both teams play in the Cherokee County Tournament on Saturday at Sand Rock. Cedar Bluff takes on Gaylesville at 11 a.m. Spring Garden battles Sand Rock at 12:30 p.m.
