In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Corey Jacobs, age 43 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of twenty-nine counts of the fraudulent use of a credit/debit card.

Laura Johnson, age 55 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of revoked bond.

Kelsie Byrd, age 32 of LaFayette, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Andre Taylor, age 24 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Centre Police Department, on a charge of larceny.

Johnny Fontana, age 55 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 4th degree theft of property.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 98 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
