Unofficial Results for May 19 Primary Elections in Cherokee, Etowah, and DeKalb County

NORTHEAST ALABAMA — Election officials in Cherokee, Etowah, and DeKalb counties have released unofficial results from the Tuesday, May 19 Primary Elections, providing voters with the first look at outcomes in state and local races across the region.

The elections featured Democratic and Republican primary contests, along with statewide constitutional amendments appearing on ballots throughout Alabama. Voters in northeast Alabama also cast ballots in several contested state races, including the Alabama Senate District 10 Republican Primary.

As with all elections, results released on election night remain unofficial until canvassed and certified by local election officials and the State of Alabama.

DeKalb County:

Election officials remind voters that certification processes include the review of provisional ballots, absentee ballots, and final tabulations before results become official.
