Mr. Erik Brent Ellard, age 45 of Cedar Bluff, passed away on April 3, 2026, at his residence.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Kendra Ellard; sons, Eric Ellard (Bella Tosh), Ethan Ellard (BreAnna Coldren), and Colten Ellard; grandchildren, Alanna Ellard, Lillie Ellard, Bradley Ellard and Oliver Hamilton; father, Freddie Gossett; brother, Justin Gossett; sister, Dawn Vaughn (Malcolm); special uncle, Steve Moses; special nephew, Josh Bailey, Jr.; nephews, Dylan Vaughn, Corey Vaughn, Jacob Vaughn, and Shane Gossett; nieces, Sierra Gossett Roach and Anna Gossett Roach; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and fur babies, Soda Pop and Maggie May.

Brent was preceded in death by his mother, Pamela Denise Gossett; and grandparents, Maudine and Johnny Moses, and Francis and Rife Gossett.
